Clay Work
Working with clay allows me to blur traditional boundaries: at once a sculptural material and a canvas, my one-of-a-kind functional pieces feature image transfers drawn from nature, reflecting a quieter, meditative inquiry into the world around me and our relationship to it.
Woven Series
In addition to tableware, I enjoy exploring the collaboration of clay and textiles. By incorporating stitching into a medium that is historically associated with functional and "masculine" craftsmanship, I challenge the gendered divisions of artistic labour.
